Coming to a therapist can be intimidating and it takes a lot of courage. It is my hope to provide you with a comfortable, safe, and accepting environment. Whether it’s just you, your family, or you and your partner, I want everyone to feel supported as we work on your treatment goals. As a systemic therapist, I help families and couples learn to communicate more effectively, resolve conflict, and deepen connection in their relationships. I also work with individuals to be more aware of thoughts, opinions, and beliefs that have developed over years of life experience, and how those impact their current view of the world around them. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I approach therapy from a systemic lens knowing that we are all part of larger systems, whether that be families, couples, neighborhoods, or co-workers. I implement various models of therapy, including Gottman, solution focused, and trauma focused CBT, but I ultimately tailor our treatment plan to best meet your needs. I am glad that you’re taking this first step to consider therapy and look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
